I agree. I don't remember a patch in BF3 that didn't jank something up. The fact that the not so perfect BF3 seems much more stable than BF4 I am even less optimistic. Hopefully I'll have to eat some crow after the patch, but I doubt it.

…and the early word on OCN is that this patch sucks. Possibly mostly server issues as it's still being rolled out as I type this but idk. Also of course looking for more feedback and will need to try myself but it really seems there is a fundamental flaw in this game/code that band aids are not really fixing and instead sometimes worsening the whole experience.

Nice patch DICE! You could not even fix the TDM sound bug. Competent developers they are, lets roll out the map packs for more profit.

Figure's they'd screw it up. I think I am going to dump it tonight and then download it again and get rid of all the old files.
This really is getting to be a pain in the ass. Hopefully I won't have to rebind every damn thing. Still gonna play tonite though.
Guess once they have their hooks in yuh you're stuck. Curious to see what the Titanfall beta is like at this point though.

From what ive seen, they could replace some of the Ai with actual players. The whole thing just reminds me of games like Smite or LoL where your teams Ai attacks enemy players Ai and towers, the Ai is a bit mindless so to speak. their behavior reminds me of the Ai seen in BF2 when you played single player with bots. Ai team mates were useless unless you pushed forward without their support and captured flags yourself.

Actually if you flank and let them take a lot of the fire it can be useful, depends on amount of bot's you are playing against though.
I'm just ready to play something else until the bugs are worked out if ever. BF3 was buggy, but didn't really have the frustration level
this one seems to bring. Even as buggy as this is though I find myself wanting to play it, guess because I have worn out myself on all
my old shooters. Almost spring though , then I will start working on my car again.

@boise49ers - I actually jumped into a game of BF3 with Rcoon last month some time before i left the country for a month. After crunching away at BF4 and suffering from its problems, BF3 felt really really refreshing. Its a complete night & day difference. the game play feels smoother, hit detection is a lot lot better and the netcode runs smoothly while in BF4 the game just feels a complete mess. BF4 will get better eventually but at the moment BF3 stands taller than BF4.

We should play again, still enjoy BF3, and have no intentions on touching BF4, ever, DICE's incompetence has soiled the waters forever for me. That and I have the whole week off work next week!!!
