I applied, but after reading the developer interview, I see these guys going down the same road as DICE in honesty. I expect it to get raped of its dignity by EA.

Yep about half of their first-wave invites were sent codes for the wrong platform

From the recent alpha footage the game looks cool. However the developers confirmed no private servers, no mod support, and a DLC rollout that is near identical to Battefield's. Also lots of brown and grey, they didn't feel their players would "cope" with vibrant jungle-like environments.

The developer also advertised mouse acceleration as a feature. AKA PC players are all screwed from the word go because they're not on consoles.

Been playing the beta this morning and I must admit I was skeptical about the game cause it seemed like a COD remake with titans and future crap but after playing it, it makes me want to play more and more. You can tell though these guys did COD 4 cause the font and other aspecs of the game are VERY close to COD4

I got in. It "feels" great, no issues with bad porting from what I can tell. Mouse acceleration is an "option". The brown and grey Rcoon speaks of is not there, unless I don't see it, the graphics aren't AMAZING but they're very good and vivid. So far the beta is quite good, very fun and this is coming from a skeptic.

The game is allright. Pretty fun at first but after a while I can see things getting rather repetitive. If I were to buy this game, I could see myself playing it for maybe a month and then moving on. So, not worth the price tag at all.

We should get one, it's just when?.. hehe The way they explained it, they would do invites in 3 phases. That's the way I understood it the last phase would invite everyone that registered that hadn't received an invite.
