Looking for a good gaming headset to go with this soundcard.

I'm looking for a good headset/microphone combination to go along with this sound card. I can't pretend that I know my way around all the technology involved, nor would I consider myself an audiophile if such a thing exist, but I love good sound when I hear and would love to purchase a set up in which I could enjoy audio. I picked out this sound sound card in particular due to fantastic reviews it's gotten across the board. I plan on doing a lot of gaming in the near future and would like to take advantage of this.

Anything Sennheiser or Audio Technica and throw a mod mic onto it.

I would have gotten a Asus soundcard instead though.

Would I be able to plug in the headset to a sound card and a modmic to an audio port from the motherboard and have them work in unison?

That shouldn't be much of a problem. Just got to setup the settings correctly. Pretty sure this is what @cadaveca does or did do.

Reg. $199 and on sale for $49. Not Sennheisers best, but for that price it's too good. That with the Modmic would be excellent.
