The R7 250 would not net you any performance benefits. If anything, your current set-up is stronger than a single 250. While I'm not 100% sure, I would guess you need atleast a R9 270 TO SEE ANY KIND OF PERFORMANCE GAIN.

Only thing your system could use, IMHO, is a GPU upgrade, and maybe add a SSD. If you think your CPU is getting a little slow, OC it a little more. A GTX 770 and a SSD for your OS and most frequently used programs/games would bring a lot of life back into that system.

Yeah I think all I need is a GPU upgrade. My CPU and RAM are fine I think. I've had 2 SSD previously and they died so I went with a Velociraptor instead of a 3rd SSD. I was leaning towards a GTX 770 now you mention it.

just wondering... is that by any chance a laptop?

because the 6570 is just a simple card that is way inferior than that buildt in 8670,
i think i have seen this combo on a lot of laptops.

You can use Dual GPU or Hybrid Crossfire with APU and Discrete. You have to visit AMD website for the pair ups.
