Just 40 USD. I bought myself one and got it quickly. It doesn't come with a low-profile adapter though.

Don't let the PCI-E 1.1 scare you, that's still 1GB/s which is more than enough to drive the dual NICs on this card. Supports all the normal goodies afaict (teaming, jumbo frames, etc.)

If your gateway needs a couple more ports, this is a great deal.

Yes but for the average user, even an enthusiast like myself wont find much use of it.

It's good for someone who runs a gateway or needs to do connection bridging or something along those lines.

This isn't one of those "I need it to be faster" upgrades.

Thanks for the reply, I've always wondered if my onboard could be out preformed by a PCI version. If so, any suggestions?

I have PCI-E x1 Intel chipset based network card and I always feel internet browsing and game play is much zippier and smoother. Also Intel's software has more tweaking options especially if the card is used for virtual machines (on host).

Yes, for hypervisor compatibility. Hyper-V/Vmware has drivers for it and it will work with the VMs without issues, unlike some onboard NICs.
