HDD Dead

Got a user's dead HDD here...Seagate 2.5" 500gb internal. It had a problem where it was 'beeping'...turned out to be head stuck on platters. Decided to take a risk, open it up and fix it. No dice...it appears the head tries to get on the platters but just makes noise/not stay. User wants to recover the data...probably best to send it off I assume.

Who should I use for this? Not looking to spend a fortune but do want the data off the drive.

You opened it? Then it's deader than it was before, and you're now looking at anything from $1000 and upwards if you really want the data back. Clean rooms etc.

User wasn't as worried about the data now is. Issue was known, but didn't get fixed with removing the stuck heads.

EDIT: Doesn't matter - got the go ahead from boss to send it off. I'll report back with the cost if anyone is interested - decided to go with '24 Hour Data'.
