Cannot uninstall Mcaffee

I run the uninstall tool and it says this tool cannot run with anti-theft installed, but I have uninstalled mcaffee through control panel and searched program files for anything but I can't find anything. Why doesn't this POS software GO!!?!?!

so... safe mode uninstall? remove processes & disable services of anything related to mcaffee? how far have you dug into the windows OS, how familiar are you?

Google how to uninstall McAfee and its right there. I had that shit years ago, its like a parasite that won't let go.. Easy fix but like I said been some time and can't recall on the process that involved.

Google how to uninstall McAfee and its right there. I had that shit years ago, its like a parasite that won't let go.. Easy fix but like I said been some time and can't recall on the process that involved.
I've tried that , but It won't uninstall due to it saying I have antitheft installed but I cannot find it anywhere.

Click start, write in the search box "msconfig", go to services tab, check "Hide Microsoft blabla", click "disable all" and restart the comp.
Open RegEdit and delete all registry entries located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\McAfee Anti-Theft and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\McAfee Anti-Theft.
Go to C:\Program Files, C:\Program Files (x86) and C:\ProgramData to delete all McAfee folders.
Open msconfig again and check the services that you unchecked.

I pretty much got rid of everything from my pc about and it doesn't run on startup so I think it's gone, but the uninstaller thing still thinks it is there.

they made the uninstaller for a reason, because their install leaves things not only in the Program Files folder and ur user data folder.

via cmd, navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\Common Framework\" and then typer frminst.exe /forceuninstall
