I have had no issues on the EU servers since the 9 update. Have gone through a huge garage clearout over the last couple of weeks, was starting to get a bit bored and needed to change some tanks, bringing back some old ones that I have not played for a couple of years, garage now consists of (in no particular order):

T110E5
T92 Arty
Object 704
AMX 50 120
T69
Lorraine 1551
SU14-1
GW Panther
SU 100Y

Without a Premium account, I am only consistently making profit on those in Bold .......On another note, I am enjoying the free premium missions!

If I have the time to play my daily drive consists of T29, E100, Cent 7/1 and 59-16. T29 still stock, so its still somewhat clunky to use. E100 is a beast, I can see why people use it for clan wars. Cent 7/1 is stock too, performs similar to the Tier 8 Cent. Grinding the legendary L7A1 will take more or less forever at this rate. 59-16 is utter shit, I hope the next tier is useful. IS-6 if I am frustrated, but it stays in the garage more often than not.

ISP is still s**t, so still no playing for me, as it requires a consistent connection. Heck even buffering videos is troublesome (downloading those videos would be easier because at least the downloader "pauses" and continues until the connection stabilizes; buffering just stops and never continues after the exclamation point in the icon disappears).

Funny you should say that ... my ping is usually around 350 -450 and fps 6 - 15 .. and I manage to play although obviously my 'reactions' are slower than most so prefer TDs and most certainly will never use a scout lol

The framerate may increase with adjusted graphics settings. Medium kind of eats my HD6670 (running @SXGA).
Sucks about your ping, I get around 30-90.
Would SPGs not be a better choice for you?

SPGs are frustrating as you miss too much besides hate them so much I wouldnt wana play em full time my laptop's graphics is seriously stock :/ ... I do ok with my SUs and the SU152 is a great cred grinder its HE cannon can damage EVERYTHING and is lethal to light armour The ISU 152 gets involved in too many tier 10 battles where you are constantly out spotted and dont always do decent damage because of this ...

Trust me ... if you are going to play WOT worrying about your win rate you will be permanently frustrated .. too many one sided heavy losses due to the RNG factor so your tank skill does not really count for much in these ... rather play it for what it is ... a game ... I think mines down to around 50% now and I really dont care anymore ... I have perhaps a 30% say in how well my team does in a battle and way too many players really dont know how to play their tanks ... 3 - 6 kills in losses are common for me.

@johnspack thank you ! I am loving my jagdpzIV and use it as medium than a camping TD sniping from far away because its pen just doesn't cut it against above tier 6.
I am grinding that E-100 line too and am currently on Tiger II and will stop grinding at E-75 because I am thinking that E-100 is a really big tall house waiting for artillery fire and really expensive.

I can't agree more with @YstreVark. It's frustrating to know that you have lost two thirds of your team in the first 3 minutes or unbalanced tank splitting and yet still losing every tank on that flank...

Please do get the E-100, I find it the easiest tier 10 to kill with my AMX 50 120 :)

Thanks for letting me know that it isn't worth it. I am actually getting bored playing slow heavy tank...
I want to try something fun and fast. Hellcat is quite fun and can be a good boredom reliever after getting those 2x win exp for other tanks :D

I am not saying it's not worth it, just that you have to be very careful in an AMX 50 120, pretty much paper armour so you need to avoid getting hit and therefore big slow tanks with very low ROF's make things a bit easier, taking on an IS7 or T110E5 often tends to be painful if the have a lot of health remaining.

I enjoy a tank with good mobility more than a slow but heavy armored tank nowadays. That french heavy line looks fun to me but the lower tier seems to be really painful to grind.
I am debating myself whether to go with the french heavy or light line to burn my free XP to at least tier 5.

I don't really want tier X because it is so expensive to run and buy. Thinking of getting a tier 8 premium tank in next month. It would be either the T34 or IS6 but I don't currently play US heavy line tank...

I'm experimenting a bit with recording replays and uploading them to Youtube. Could you people take a look and comment on the quality of the videos?
I'm so out of shape though. :p Look at my shooting. XP

Dunno guys .... I find its more fun playing tiers 5 - 7 actually .... I guess everyone wants that tier 10 .. but which is best hmmm ?
In my experience and personal preference I have a mix of both, without premium it is VERY difficult to make money on a regular basis with tiers 9 and 10, it can be a struggle at times with premium even, when you get into the realms of 3000 credits per round and upto 30,000 repair costs it can be a struggle, so if you mix the odd tier 6 and 7 in to your garage you can make up that deficit and get the best of both worlds, I have tier 10's researched that I have not played or owned for 2 years, sometimes you go that whole long journey just to be a little dissapointed when you get there...... a bit like marriage really! :)

I enjoy a tank with good mobility more than a slow but heavy armored tank nowadays. That french heavy line looks fun to me but the lower tier seems to be really painful to grind.

The french Line can be fun, I only really found it a grind at tier 7, at the same time I went up the similar US line, the T21 at tier 6 was a grind at times although fun, the T71 was fantastic, the T69 was ummmm OK but a little dissapointing (gun for a tier 8 is a joke, 174 pen and 240 average damage compared to the tier 8 frenchie with 239mm pen and 300 damage)but the lines are different of course, at tier 9 I think the frenchie 120 is better but at Tier 10 the T57 US Heavy wins it every time!" As I said, if you offset with a premium and a couple of lesser tier tanks you can still make a profit and get the best of both worlds....... my SU100Y can be difficult but it earns some serious credits and xp. Of course like for like the french light/medium only line is fun but I really struggled with the Lorraine at tier 9.

I currently own a Matilda (IV) modded out of its skull hull (definitely a keeper), a Cruiser Mk. IV (that branch will remain the one for lights), a T46 that is mostly used to grind enough XP to research along the medium --> heavy Russian tree branches, and a German VK20.01(D) to be researching along the medium branch of the German tree. I own a Birch Gun too, because I like some SPG action once in a while (I hit more hostiles with SPGs than with most of my tanks; only my Tilly is more competitive).

The US light line is good and leads to one of the best tank in the game, the T57 Heavy OP but I would prefer to play STA-1 or Centurion 1 or even chinese mediums than the T69 for tier 8 meds even though it has an autoloader..
I usually buy a month of premium account when I have long holiday like the end of semester and still play a lot of tier 5 tanks like KV-1 because I like derping people :pimp:

I just found out that SU100Y is significantly cheaper than SU122-44 so I might get it as it can help me train my russian TD crew line. Its play style looks similar to German Sturer Emil, paper slow but hard hitting.

I love both Cruiser III and IV in that line for its great gun depression and autoloader. Currently grinding the Covenanter which isn't bad but really depends on MM.
Russian heavy is also fun but I heard they will do something with KV-1S on the next patch so I bought the T-150 instead.
