I don't see what the big deal is. This is like Pokemon with space ships. Collect them all!

Yeah just sent them a message it took me a while to find the contact us. I brought up that it only cost $10 more for the current 300i package that also includes Digital Game Soundtrack + Digital Map, but they are charging $25 more and that only includes the 300i upgrade. As of now I can't stand my Aurora (I do know that this just came out, so all ships will continue change, but I have wanted the 300i for a long time)

got a email today, I wish it included the package features like soundtrack and map but its ship upgrade only, so what they are saying is it cost $30 for the ship,and then like $25 for LTI and the rest

Hi there,

You are paying for the difference in ships not the ship packages. So the Aurora LX to buy was $30 and the 300i is $55. So the price difference for just the ship is $25.

I hope this clarifies any confusion

Thanks to a number of fellow TPU'ers here, I was encouraged to upgrade my Aurora LX to a 300i.
The difference in handling in AC is comparable to going from a Ford Escort to a BMW coupe.
Now I'll try to sit on my wallet 'till the Constellation variants come out...

I'm curious when you upgraded did it just give you the 300i? or did it also give you Digital game soundtrack and map, for when the game is released.

depends on your definition of support.

You can use them, just not easily configure them... Have to change config files.

EDIT: Don't know if you guys have seen the video of Voice Attack, but it's very cool! This guy goes through most commands 6min for dogfighting.

Also just upgraded to the 300i figured if I have LTI I would rather have it on the 300i than the Aurora, my plan was the 300i was going to be my first ship upgrade in game anyway.

I'm still resisting the urge to upgrade my Freelancer heheh. The only thing that works for me, is the fact that I like to play such a utility role in most of my games, so I tend to be more of a "jack of all, master of none" sort of player. I think the 'Lancer as she sits will do well for me in all roles, even if there's things I might do better by upgrading, I'll be sacrificing other options.

Seriously though, best ship for getting to good stuff. Yeah the missiles take up a bunch of cargo room.. but you still have cargo room. I can picture myself going out to get some rare alien artifact or something.. Oh look there's some other people nearby looking for it too. Missile time.

Cross-chassis upgrades just replaces one ship for the other. If you already had those extras, you still will after the upgrade. If you didn't, it does not add them.
As for the new Around the Verse show, while informative, I found it significantly lacking in character and personality. That may develop over time, but I miss Wingman's hijinks. Ben and Sandi don't have much chemistry together at all.

If it's a player reward, you have to be an existing backer when the goal is reached to receive it.
