Hello, I've got the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-i keyboard, I spilled a little bit of fruit tea with sugar on it. Since I've done it, so about two and a half weeks I've been cleaning it, mashing buttons, trying to clean the switches with water, tried everything and few keys are still sticky and they don't work very well. Everything else works just fine, also other keys work perfect after cleaning.
Now there are only left ctrl and spacebar left, I also tried to clean the supporters of the spacebar. Could you please help me? Are there any ways other than a full disassembly of the keyboard?

Your Best Bet for Keyboard Cleaning
Sticking to the old-fashioned canned air, disinfectant wipes, and even small amounts of alcohol is the safest way to get your mechanical keyboard clean. You won’t have to worry about the thing coming out broken and dysfunctional (unless you’re really harsh during your cleaning process).

You need to check the wiki on reddit's mechanical keyboard site, specifically: http://imgur.com/a/9sHx7 . Ripster has the most comprehensive guide for anything mechanical keyboard related. Gluck.

I've watched the video 3 times, read the tutorial twice, I've got canned air and also tried it, but well - doesn't work.

Not sure what the difference is between a mechanical keyboard and a standard keyboard is, but I'm still using a keyboard I ran through the dishwasher...

I advise using a mixture of water and rubbing alcohol. If you use too much concentration , you will have to re-lube everything. And that's a workout!

Yeah that stuff is safe and doesnt oxidate metal. All contacts in a vehicle i use that stuff along with dielectric grease to protect those areas from dirt and moisture.
