Just one to say hello to you guys

Ive been reading here for a while and thought id register. Ill be asking alot of questions so please dont shout as my PC know how is abit basic and id just like to learn about stuff like OC'ing etc etc..

My PC spec's are :

Saphire X1950 PRO AGP 512mb
2gb of 184pin DDR3200
A Crappy northwood intel P4 ( Any advice on making it faster would be great as i cant afford an upgrade ATM)
Trust 570w PSU
FOXXCON mother board with SiS a chipset
HPw19 19" widescreen monitor with a max res of 1440x900
And i have i think a decent amount of fans in my case, 2x 12cm, 2x6cm and the fans thats on my CPU and 1950 PRO

So anyway this is me so hello :rockout:

You get to re-use everything else, whoops not your vid card if it's agp, sell it and buy pci xpress. Otherwise look on e-bay for a used socket 939 motherboard with agp and still get the processor.

If you're on a budget, $150 + shipping will get you my 1GB kit of Mushkin RAM and an AMD Athlon 64 3800+. Then, all you need is a $50 s939 motherboard, and you've got yourself a nice cheap upgrade path
