I currently have this setup:
Pentium 4 Prescott 3GHz HT
2x512MB DDR400
XFX 6800XT (clocks 350/1000)
Intel D865PESO
Bottlenecks?

This is my future system, should have it in about 24 days:
Pentium D 915 Presler 2.8GHz Dual-Core
2x512MB DDR400
XFX 6800XT (clocks 350/1000)
ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA LGA 775 VIA PT880 Ultra
Bottlenecks?
It's basically just a new processor and motherboard, recycling RAM and GPU.

Get a E4300, the preslers are hot and no where near as good as a allendale! The VSTA-775 is a good cross over board, but you cant get high FSB clocks out ov em from my experience!

Then get some faster ram, its cheap as chips @ the mo!

no money!! it is a birthday gift, and my family is not rich, $150 for a birthday is asking alot, unlike some people here who get HD 2900's for their birthday. I just want to know if there is a bottleneck
