is the X1800GTO in the right place if its being done in performance order?

I can see how with a 12 pipe R520 it might be perform amongst the 16 pipe X800XTs, but I don't understand how the X1300 and X1600s are further down the list and deemed "better".

I wondered if there was a "generational gap" between the X8xx and X1xxx series but then it woudl be amongst the other R520s?

it says this at the top

Below you will find a reference list of most current video cards around today.

Default sort order is by performance, you can change sorting by clicking on the column header.

Comments or requests to add a missing video card to the database can be posted here.

To be fair, its mostly correct - the difficulty is in comparing cards of different generation's. An x1300 has SM3 and you could argue is more advanced than a X850XT PE in this respect but the X850 would destroy it in any real world app.

The X1800GTO just doesn't seem to fit in where it is given its feature set

GeForce is NVIDIAs brand name for its mainstream Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). It is used to create a distinction between its other GPUs such as the Quadro (Workstation) GoForce (PDA, Smartphones).

Hi, My card isn't on there. It's a sapphire radeon X800GT AGP with an R420 core running at 475Mhz with 256mb GDDR3 samsung 2.0ns memory running at 493Mhz. So same as PCI express X800GT but different model GPU. Or looking at it another way it's an X800SE overclocked from the factory. (it actually says X800SE on the chip)

hi i've been linked to this list a couple of times as its been hard to find info on my ATI Mobility Radion X1400 as its usually the x1300 or x1600, but found most info on the ATI website it seems. I can't interpret all of it though so maybe a little help. http://ati.amd.com/products/MobilityRadeonx1400/index.html says:
"with the dedicated 90-nanometer process Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) with an ultra-threaded 3D architecture, ring-bus memory controller, and a native 16x PCI Express® bus interface. Render lifelike 3D characters and scenes with any OpenGL® and DirectX® 9 game and enjoy astonishing effects with full DirectX® 9 Shader Model 3.0 support."
"high-speed 128-bit 4-channel DDR/DDR2/GDDR3 RAM support. "
"4 pixel shader pipelines and 2 vertex processors"
also i use a Dell Inspiron 6400 1gb ram 2ghz dualcore2 and the x1400 is 256mb

Gainward released a third '7800 GS'

Quote "In late 2006 Gainward released a third '7800 GS' card with 20 pixel shaders running at 500 MHz core and 1400 MHz memory called the "BLISS GS-GLH".[14] This card is also based on the 7900 GS core"

I am now the prowd owner of one of these very rare special units.:rockout:
The box say's Gainward Bliss 7800GS+ Golden Sample
512 Special Edition
GLH
It's also appearent that the "7800" label is applied over the orgional printing on the box!! As is the addition of the "512 Special Edition"

Mabey call it a 7800GS+512 Bliss GLH Rev.3?

This with 512MB of memory instead of 256MB. The exact memory speed would vary depending on manufacturer.
