Need new headphones

Okay, basically I haven't got any that work. My stock iPod ones, only one phone works, and I need some new ones.

I need some advice one which ones to get, I've read some reviews on the new iPod In Ear ones and some say they're amazing and fantastic and some say they suck.

Anybody got some suggestions? I plan to go out in these and move about a little... some light football and what not.

For the moment I'm not going to put on a massive price range... about £20. :D

Buy some Sennheiser PMX60s, wrap around, not in-ear, but they're comfortable for me (I have large ears, and so in-ear ones can get annoying if they're small)
Great sound quality, but no in-line volume controller, but at least cheap, about £20 last I saw them.
Basically, stick with the Sennheiser street range I say, good value, good quality (been using Senns for a few years)

Logitech has some good ones. I personally use their Stereo Gaming Headset. The bass is great and I can almost always tell where enemies are...hehe...I picked my pair up at my local Best Buy for around $20.

I'm not very fond of the wrap around type ear phones to be honest. Look like a 'tard when I go out :p

I prefer these type of headphones:

I have some regular iPod ones but only one side works. They have good bass and I like that. I'm wondering if there's any better ones for the same £19.99 price tag, or if I should just stick with another pair.

I don't know how it is over there but we don't use gaming headsets on the street :wtf: :laugh:

OH OH I'M SORRY!!! Didn't know that's what you wanted em for!! :p In that case....Creative Labs has some good ones...I used those for such a long time and would still be using them if they hadn't started crackling.

Ah, well, wrap arounds for me are fine, I look like a 'tard anyhow.
Still, I recommend Senns. Street and Sport ranges are mostly in-ear phones, and look comfortable.
Example:

Those are the Senn MX50s, very cheap, and probably not worth much, but if you're looking to spend very little, they're a good option I guess.

More expensive, but look more comfortable, and probably better alround.

I dunno about how good that site is, I just found it on google.

If you cba to wait, then... Argos has some decent 'phones, heheh. If you go there, stick to Sonys I say.

I've just noticed that on my one remaining working headphone on the original iPod headphones, when I listen to "I Think They Like Me (So So Def Remix)" (lol don't judge me :p) the bass is the same level all the way through, but if I plug in my Logitech Internet Chat Headset, the bass tones get higher and lower (like they should). I think I need some decent street headphones that can actually replicate what the sound SHOULD sound like.

So these will sound better than my stock iPod ones for such a low price?

I'll raise my bar to £25 'cos I really need some decent ones in the style I showed above :p No point listening to music if it sounds wrong...

I've never used iPod headphones for my own music, and my own MP3 player to compare (I've got a Sony NWA1000... DONT JUDGE ME EITHER!), so I can't say, but to be fair, you should look at the specs, and compare to the iPod headphones' specs. You'll probably be able to find them somewhere. Possibly on that site, I dunno.
This is like choosing keyboard and mouse, you should really try before you buy.

Trouble is when you buy headphones they won't take them back. As I found out with these shitty new iPod In Ear ones...

Earphones are a great way to kill your hearing. Get some cans from Sennheiser, Grado, or Sony.

Sennheiser PX100s maybe. What's your budget?

Uhhmmm...

Argos, Comet, PC World, Currys. I think that's about it.

I think for the time being I'll concentrate on what to get rather than where. Then I can go from there.

Okay I got the specs for these ones from Apple:

* Earphones
* Frequency response: 20Hz to 20,000Hz
* Impedance: 32 ohms

Not sure if they're any use.

I wanted some sites to look at prices. What is your budget in US dollars?

For low-mid-range headphones, people really like Sennheiser. I have some HD202 Pros that are pretty damn good. For more portable circumstances, the PX100s are highly revered and reasonably priced. There are some PXC150s that cancel noise for about $70.

I'm really looking for earphones rather than ones that go over your head.

Like these:

This type of earphone is what I'm looking for, but with decent quality, and ones that don't keep falling out.

I bought these earlier today and they can BURN IN HELL! http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M9394G/B
