Hi again guys.

mmmm, possibly I annoy you so much....but like the thread says there are SO MANY cards out there that making the best choice is so difficult.

After HOURS of reviews and googling on the net I finally choose this two cards and one of them will be my new VGA card, maybe both of them sucks but I think It fits my needings.

The first choice is a SAPPHIRE X1650XT 256MB PCI-E, this card IS the first choice 'cause It can run perfectly with my 350watts PSU, and since I only have 1 HDD and 1 DVD-ROM, the system must remain stable.

The second is a SAPPHIRE X1950GT 256MB PCI-E, this card could be a problem since I think my system will not support it with my PSU.

I don't really wanna change my PSU 'cause is a SFX model and I cannot find other more powerful.......installing a normal model means make a modding and I don't have enough space .

So HERE IS THE BIG DEAL....

X1650XT--------------------------------------X1950GT
256 MB GDDR3--------------------------------256 MB GDDR3
12 PPL (24 Pixel Shader processors)------------12 PPL (36 PSP)
128 bit----------------------------------------256 bit

Both of them costs almost the same

Is there a considerable performance between them or I will be happy with the X1650XT, obviously the X1950GT must be a better card just I wanna know If there are a visibly performance between them, I don't wanna expend unnecesary bucks if the performance boost are a couple of FPS.

And with my actual PSU can I run the X1950GT???

Hope I make it clear for you and sorry for the questions, I'ts just I don't have much money and I wanna make the best choice acording to my needings and maybe you're tried those versions of cards.

Your opinion is very useful belive me.

MUCHAS GRACIAS:roll:

Or you can get an 8600GTS. I think the minimum is 350W. I would recommend getting a better PSU though.

I suggest you getting a good PSU. Cause PSU can last and they don't have such thing as AA or AF or whatever blah shit. And buy a GOOD one that provides constant power. Good brands like silverstone. PSU do last and you dont have to change them occasionally. Keep em well and they could last at least 5 or more years. By that time your current MOBO .etc would be outdated.

I think your stressing the PSU requirements a bit there....

Yes you need a good PSU, but not something crazy like a 850W PSU or 1000W one .

An Antec NeoHE 430W can take the X1950GT. I would get it for the fact that its almost silent, oh yeah to keep the cost down, grab yourself a sapphire and then get the VF700ALCU for it.

Dont underestimate the VF700 guys :pimp:

EDIT: Okay I see what you have, the case itself is barely satisfactory.... anyway, find yourself a cheap and decent case like one of those Centurion 5s that do not have a PSU, then buy the NEO HE430W; it will do you a lot better.

The X1650XT is nothing compared to the X1950GT btw.

Stop! Power requirements aside, if you are effectively saying that after your research all you need is the power of a 1650, why not just go for the 8600GT, it does not even need any additional power supply (as in it does not have a 6 Pin PCI-E connector) it just uses the 75W from the motherboards PCI-E socket, it gives you DX10, overclocks like mad and will outperform the 1650......simple really.....ohhh and it's cheap......bonus.

"Get an 8800GTS!!!!" am i correct  :laugh:

No that was already mentioned......the 8600GT or perhaps the 2600XT both would be good, both low power, both DX10.

Agreed, the X1650 is now a waste with that card out.
If you get this card you do not need a new PSU (provided that you have a quality PSU and not a generic one).
However, please note, that you will prob. not be able to OC a lot at all (if at all).

1950GT, destroys a 1650XT. Especially once its OCd to Pro speeds.
