OpenTTD might very well be the most addicting clone of a 12yr old game I've ever played.

If you've played transport tycoon before, you'll love this. It expands on the previous feature set and ups the available resolutions. Not to mention the competitive multiplayer aspect.

I love this game so much, I'm playing it in a window as I type this.

Right on my man. If you can't find the resource files from the original game, they can be "acquired" easily over the net.
