I second that but I wouldn't sell that system I would sell the brisbane and get a 6000+ and oc it to 3.5ghz which your board can do very easily putting you on par with a e6600 / e6700 or wait a few weeks and get a 6400+ putting you on par with a e6750/e6850 after you oc it. It would be alot cheaper than going the Intel route and would last a long time learn from my mistake. You will get about 40.00 for the 3600x2 making a new 6000+ cost you about 119.00 or a 6400+ about 190.00.

I just found this if you use this promo code you can get a 6000+ 166.99 shipped (EMC814CPU03) on newegg.

Why are you just going from thread to thread making really strange comments. If I were to guess I would think you are about 15 years old am I right.

but it is not a strange comment, since in previous threads I have seen you make long comments supporting AMD and such then you mention how you yourself own an Intel processor, it is not a serious argument, just a little quirk, posted by a guy that has a quirky attitude in general (and that explains the strange comments)

that and I am exceptionally bored, as it is midnight, with nothing much to do.

My god where are your parents. I also don't just support what I own I try and be fair and base what I say on merit not on what company I like. Hence I own Intel but don't like them very much at all.

whew, I was going to stop in here just for a little bumpage but yowzers this was quite the thread after I went to bed haha

I would have to agree with trt about cost/performance as with the dirt cheap price on the 6000+ it's almost too much to pass up...of course it's exciting to get new parts and a new system and what not but it really would be a waste. Even with your 3600 running at 2.8 or thereabouts you'll notice a huge gain with the 6000 even at stock speeds, let alone after you OC it.

Let it be known that I only slightly favor AMD though I have an intel setup because of the amazing deal I was able to get on it, so don't flame me! haha

oh and bump for you :)

I may take you up on this. It depends on how the next week goes. You certainly make a good offer. I have a client who may want such a build, and if it doesn't fall through, this will be perfect. :)

I have a Tforce550SE for my 5600+ Windsor, and my girlfriend has one with her 3600+ Brisbane. I know first hand how awesome these boards are, and what they can do for overclocking.

Which makes me curious, why would you sell such a sweet setup?

I am mainly bored with AMD right now, so I want to go with an Intel rig. I really don't NEED the extra performance, but I am bored

Bored with AMD? I would be too if i had a 3600+ x2 brisbane...

Want to quench that boredom? Listen to TRT and/or get yourself a new 6400+ x2 windsor thats comming out shortly! Why spend more money on a new Intel setup thats only going to be slightly better? Don't get me wrong, nothing against Intel, I'm just looking at the financial/best bang for the buck aspect of this decission...

Oh yeah, and a free bump from another TForce user! :toast:

Ok, I am going to split these up.

X2 3600+ = $45 shipped priority.

Tforce 550SE = $60 Shipped Priority

AC Freezer+80mm fan = $20 shipped priority.
