getting a new sound card

meh I heard the new asus sound card was good.....and also the razer sound card was good...I want to upgrade from the x-fi xtreme music to something a lil better maybe the razer or the asus just kinda tired of the creative....and I dont liek fagtality

yer i looked at the razer its optical and i don't have a optical setup atm and i manly just use head phone i can't even use my speaker

well it comes with that I think, but maybe your just better off getting the fatality sound card thats still the best sound card out I think but I always thought the razer SC was better

Why move from onboard? The ADI 1988B with the .6110 drivers is phenominal. There is very little advantage in buying a seperate addin board these days. Creative is junk anyway, if you absolutely must have an addin board look at the Prodigy 192 or the HDA X-Meridian.

one because i get interferences thought my front audio plug and tryed and tryed can't find what coursing it its not the board PSU or video card so i've had it so im buy a new sound card

I alsways thought that Auzen wasn't as good as creative or razer or something, whats gonna be good about the new one?

Well for one thing they use higher quality OPAMPs and other parts that are of greater quality then that of creatives cards, plus they have better drivers for the new card, u can see the full spec sheet on their site. Besides this card uses the xfi chipset thats the best in the market, before they used c-media chipsets.

Auzentech makes the best quality X-FIs out there, the components used are far superior to what Creative uses on their own cards. Of course this comes at a price, but I definitely think that the added price is worth it.
