The sound card is for HD surround sound quality; that option is totally up to you. Each of these brands I listed both come with detachable mics.

the evga board he is using has HD sound any way it just wont go as loud as if he got the sound card as well i tested it with oboard sound and with the razer sound card

well i think the bass is sweet you can really feel the bass it vibrates your head 
one thing they sound better in games then music and movies but its up to you man yer just keep at it like i did and in the end you have your dream machine
