looking for a new p35 motherboard inpute needed

My current motherboard a EVGA F68 680I T1 is being sold . I'm on my second RMA so say goodbye. That being said I need a new one and I'm looking at P35 boards. I have about 175.00 to spend and am looking at a ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard and a whole bunch of other Gigabyte boards. Does anyone have a good board in this price range or does anyone know of a good board in this price range.

Here is my short list
1. ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail 154.99 have seen reviews from 560 fsb to 600 fsb
2. GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
Ultra Durable 2, ultra cooling 149.00 is said to do 512 fsb or more

3. ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
159.00 is said to do 525 fsb

4. GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS4 Rev. 2.0 LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
Ultra Durable 2, ultra cooling 184.99 slightly over my limit with funds is said to do 568 fsb or more

If you have had any experience with these motherboards or know of a good p35 board please recomend one or comment on the above boards, any an all review links would help too.

gigabyte boards have the highest fsb according to toms hardware guide, the asus p5k delucxe they tested didn't beat gigabyte, i say choice 2 or 4

WARNING: ASUS P5K boards that are P5K or under(like the vanilla) have terrible vdroop and shitty ocing, you want either deluxe or premium (not sure what the -e is)

this one claims 600 fsb

here is another with both Gig and Asus boards over 550 FSB but thats all I found on the Asus. these DS4 is kinda out of my price range and I'm not sure which of the other Gig boards is a good bang for the buck. The Abit looks good too but not as good.

he's validated it via cpu-z, dont know what to say other then the fact that its probably legit, but then again if you hook the chipset to wc/tec/compressor, wont the fsb wall getting higher?

With all of this we managed to get some reasonable scores. Our Gigabyte board managed 568MHz, ASUS just behind with 560MHz, ABIT at 557MHz, Foxconn at 438MHz and the ECS only managing 422MHz. its not that much of a diff between the asus and the gigabyte other then quality, for which i recommend gigabyte because even the 80 buck versions are good, whereas the asus boards that aren't deluxe, premium, or -e are shitty.

I think the Gigabyte Ultra cooling. High FSB and lower temps around the CPU.
But if you are wanting to overclock vary high than the 2nd Gigabyte. I am just a fan of gigabyte. I have used 2 of them and worked great and i have know people that have used gigabyte for years without a problem.

Your 2900XT is a behemoth of a video card, I don't think you need/want two of them... do you? This board supports DDR3 as well, which is getting better. By the time you want to upgrade that great ram of yours, ddr3 will be fast and at reasonable pricing.

Thats the one that I use. I have gotten mine to 3.4GHZ so far without issues. The main problem is the northbridge cooler, it gets HOT HOT HOT. I added a fan to it and cooled it off drasticly.

guys I got to tell from all the reviews the Asus board seems to be the best of the bunch besides the gigabyte ds4 which 30.00 more expensive . The reviews so far list the Asus as the second fastest overclocker and that it has the most features. It hits 560 fsb in one review and 600 FSB in another what do you think.

Im not ruling them out at all just pointing out where I'm at now. Any other brands are welcome also
