First time boot, Windows is not C:/, how do I change?

Hey Ya'll.

So my compy booted with a few problems with raid. Disabled, and it ran fine. Poped in the XP cd and did the partition, but it comes up as F:/, not C. How do I change this?

When that happens to me, I always just do a clean re-install. It's just not worth the risk of messing Windows up any more, imo.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this is my new build, and loading Windows for the first time. Would a certin SATA port dictate this?

No, it just happens upon occasion. Just start over with the install, and make sure you delete the partitions and reformat everything. Usually fixes it for me.

Ok. I'll give this a try. Thank god for laptops and wireless, otherwise communication with the outside world relies on phone.
