little do you know that when you get stabbed in the chest in that game by a claw a spike shoots out of the vest and stabs you in the spot, and it works the same with the glasses ...one false move get hit in the face...and all the sudden you lose an eye.

I'll never understand virtual reality.
Until I can do it (run around physically to navigate a virtual world) without running into a wall and breaking my face then it sucks.

I had that same idea when I saw it. John Carmack reckons we'll see that kind of technology around 2010-2015, where it distorts the are in the dimension you play in to form the game.

Unfortunately, where I live, I've NEVER seen anything like DOOM3 content in real life. Perhaps I just live in a boring part of the country that doesnt have corridors and monsters like DOOM3? Please tell me where you live!
