SOLD ON EBAY
For sale is my REV. 1 HIS X1900GT IceQ3 edition 256MB for £75 shipped*. I managed to get 5793 in 3DMark06 with this card and was top of the X1900GT scores with rigs of a similar spec to my own. I also hold second position! It has just been thoroughly cleaned out and had a new layer of AS5 put on the GPU; so it should run even cooler than when I had it in my case. I have the original box with me and a few accessories somewhere. If you really need some of the accessories please tell me and I will try to find the ones you need. The card requires you to have a 6 Pin PCI-E power connector. This card maxes out @ 715/810 with no artifacts. Please bear in mind that you may not be able to replicate these as this can change from one rig to another. I personally used ATi Tray tools to get it that high (and rebelled against Catalyst drivers in preference of the Omega set); and a voltage of 1.400v up from the standard 1.325v to the GPU. The memory also requires a slight bump in voltage- but this is a very small increase that is required. I also had a 120mm blowing on it constantly and I've had the fan @ 100% whenever I've used it for gaming which is when I overclock it. Otherwise I set it at a dynamic fan setting to keep the GPU below 46*C when idle at all times. This is currently the highest clocked X1900GT GPU on HwBot that is not on water-cooling.
Even in games and in benches this card has never exceeded 70*C when overclocked, and most of the time never went above 65*C. I have very good airflow over the card though. The cooler is the IceQ3 Cooler which is far superior to the frankly shoddy stock cooling that these cards come with. It keeps the GPU very cool and with low noise apart from when you use it above 80% fan speed where the "whooshing" sound can irritate. At idle it will never be audible if you have good case airflow. This is also the Revision 1 version of the card. This is the better of the two as it overclocks like hell, as you can see, and it has voltage control settings. Ask around to confirm this if you have to. please be careful with the voltage control- do not get trigger happy.
I will answer any questions regarding the card and will accept payment by PayPal preferably. However if you are interested in the card and do not have PayPal please PM me and I'm sure we can sort something out. This is a lovely card (I have two of these X1900GT's!) and really rewards the careful overclocker. I have put this price as I've been told I could get higher on eBay in the UK, but I'd rather sell it to somebody on the forums who will really appreciate the card. I have now lowered the price- I will not go lower.
Any questions please PM me.
If there are any violations of the forum rules I will not hesitate to call a mod in.
