Yeah thats right, I am planning on selling my newly aquired CPU and Motherboard. I have had these for less than a week (5days) and they work perfectly. If you are some one who does not want to overclock and wants an AMD quad core this is perfect for you. I spend 260$ on the Phenom 9500 and 170$ on the MSI K9A2 Platinum for a total cost of 430$ with out shipping. Like i said their is nothing wrong with the system, the MSI has the new FX790 chipset, which has HTT 3.0, PCIe 2.0, and quad Crossfire (Crossfire X). The Phenom is retail so it does come with its stock heatsink, all you need is some thermal paste. I took the stock thermal paste off and used artic silver so the processor would run cooler (28-30*C with stock heatsink and artic silver). Like i said if you want a cheap quad core cpu, mobo combo and not planning on overclocking it, this is perfect. I would like 400$ shipped for this. Ill post pics later.

The reason why i am selling it instead of returning it to newegg is that the mobo is "Non-Refundable" but can be replaced with in 30days.

Paypal primarily.

my luck with it.. no, the average overclock with Phenoms in general ranges from 2.6-2.8. Ive read a review saying its the premature bios on the mobo or chipset, which could be fixed in the future with updates, and if its fixed the Phenom could hit around 3.2 on air.

here is the link.

This is my back up plan, i know my uncle wanted me to build him a quad core system which he didnt want to overclock for around a grand... that was a few weeks ago, havent talked to him since.

PM me price for just the MSI, I'll consider buying it :)

PM sent, but i would like to first sell it as a pair.

Pic up, to show that i truly own it! :D

On the other side, my uncle called me today and said he is willing to purchase it, so its 90% sure its going to him, unless something happens. I would still like to keep this thread up until it is sold.
