Hello friends.

Finally I've finished my new rig and I'm testing it now.

I own a Club3D 8800Gt. It is my first Nvidia card (the previous one was a X800GTO), so I have some doubts when overclocking it.

At this moment, I set the core to 675 MHz and the memory to 1000 Mhz via Rivatuner because atitool doesnt show anything. When passing Atitool 0.27 to scan for errors, it gives an one after 30 minutes and the counter resets, but it is quite stable IMO. I dont know how to check the shaders max speed, so I decided to unlink core/shaders and rise them separately.

What are the maximum speeds do you recommend? I've read that memories on the 8800GT's are 1 nSeg, so they can support 1000 mhz whithout any problem.

Max temp after 45 minutes is 69º C. Fan speed is controlled via Rivaturner. It is good, isn't it?

Thanks in advance

69*C is fine for a graffix card :slap:
Personally, I say don't let it go over 80.

Try 700/1100

Running now 702/1512/1000. Temps are 68/69. Atitool shows one error every 10-15 min. Always the same error: "2 pixel dont match". I think it isn't significant.

I'lll continue testing at night or tomorrow. I must go to work.

Just run 700/1000 and whatever shaders it gives you. Try looping 3DMARK06 overnight or whatever. If it's still going and no artifacts, you should be good.

Thanks to all.

I'm at job now. I'll test at stock speed as DOM_ATI_X800XL_PCI-E suggests.

Do you think AtiTool 0.27 beta is a good way to check the OC? When I used when testing the 800GTO, errors were constantly when clocked to its limit, but one error every 15-30 minutes doesn't look important to me (unless I get errors a stock...)

Anyway: does atitool 0.27 work well with the new Nvidias?

Thanks!!!
