Seeking Ultimate Internet Security Combo Protection that is worth to pay. seeking the All-In-one Combo... anti virus plus anti spyware plus firewall.

tired of free and trials and tired of virus and reformat.

should I get Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite or Mcafee Internet Secuity Suite? or any other that you recommend?

dont care how much it cost.

from my experience, most companies have an area where they are strong in, and areas where they are weak in. for example, i have avg, i use the antivirus, its great, but i dont even bother with anti spyware. for that, i use spybot search and destroy you know? imo, i think you just piece together software that is made & strong in a certain area.

+1 on that.
for firewall, go with ZoneAlarm, for spyware, go with SpyBot: S&D, for ad-ware go with AD-Aware, etc.
you can get everything you will ever need for free, too.

if thats the case.... can you custom the ultimate secuity combo for me? need one for anti virus... need one for anti spyware...... need one for firewall.

Firewall: ZoneAlarm (free)
anti-spyware: SpyBot: Search and Destroy (free)
anti-adware: AD-aware '07 (free)
Anti-virus: Ask panchoman, but I have heard nod32 and kaspersky are good. AVG is also awesome.

hiddenspud thats a very subjective question. I use pc cillan now and it does an excellent job overall with the only annoying bit being that when i go online gameing with Skype i get a msg sayin computer components want to access the internet and dumps Skype. The only way i can stop it is to turn pc ciilan off.

There is an ad aware 07 ive been using as of late from the same manufacturer. Dont know if its better but I stepped to it instead!

hmm... seems like free protection are still highly recommended.....

so free stuff and paid stuff does not matter? paid stuff is not stronger than free stuff?

not really. with the amount of updates that are provided by the reputable programs we have suggested, there's really no need to pay. ever.

+1 as above, avg for anti-virus , spybot s&d is good too. i use to have zonealarm but tbh i found it useless, im using windows firewall and its fine. zonealarm hogged alot of my resources too and im quite happy now

yeah pretty much you can get programs for free that will do each job better than a all in one type program

the free ones are in most cases jsut as good
AVG free is a decent enough anti virus and id go with SpyBot: S&D as well ive never had any virus on my pc this year only one which was a program i new would come up as a virus

No single or group of three are 100% safe. SO pick the three you like and use them. Once in a while (weekly/monthly) load a different one and run a scan, You will be supprised at the results you get.
