Yeah, they'll probably work on patches and the a-like for specific games if they can't improve them before their release in the next week or so. I'm hoping the 3870X2 can improve a bit more before they give us the 4870X2 - it'll be a much cheaper card by then but still be able to give you decent enough frame rates at high resolutions with decent image settings.

Still, it all depends on value for money, thinking to far forward I think.

We should note, however, that CrossFireX is only supported under Windows Vista

Anyone knows if official support will finally be available for the AGP ver of the 3850, I'm using the drivers that came on the installation CD, but they won't allow me to OC my card beyond 720Mhz core/950Mhz mem, where as I've seen ppl get their PCIe 3850s to over 800 core/ 1000 mem.

Even though they show 4 2900xt's in the demo slide :laugh:

you will only be able to crossfireX 3870's, 3850's and 3870x2's.
