Whats with all the online cheaters!!!???

Just got the new Dawn of War Soulstorm game...Single player rocks as usual for the series.. :rockout:

..Then yesterday went and tried playing online....Holy crap! I guess punkbuster doesn't work here either.. :mad:

.. I've been playing the series for quite some time now (Dawn of War and Dark Crusade etc.) and I know how long it takes for one to amass armies and such..

..There is NO EFFING WAY you can get 200 to 400 troops in 8 frigging minutes.. :confused:

.. The most I've been able to get is about 25 to 40 troops, then some a-hole strolls in with over 200+ and just wipes me and everybody else out.. :wtf:

..All in under 10 minutes!!??.. :twitch:

..It'll probably get to the point where it will BE pointless to play online unless you belong to a clan and play on locked servers..:shadedshu... Don't get me wrong I've used "trainers" in single player mode...But NEVER while online or in multiplayer mode..(by the way most if not all trainers cannot be used in online or in multiplayer mode anyway, but from what I understand all one has to do is pay monthly dues for that sort of "hack" in order to keep it "updated" and punkbuster proof)...Now that FEAR is no longer supported by punkbuster, you can't go into ANY server without some one using an aimbot or radar. COD4 is rampant with the same garbage, and so is Soulstorm it seems.. :eek:

..Cheaters are started to ruin online gaming for me...

I've never really realized the appeal of cheating, even if single player. In essence, why even play the game if there is no challenge? In some circumstances, sure, its fun to play around, but usually, it sucks all the fun out real quick. And yea, it is especially frustrating when playing online.

I"ve used them if there is a spot that is absolutely impossible to overcome in a game.. :banghead:

.. I "trained" the game just so I could move on) or if I really want to EXPLORE the more richly detailed games..without worrying about attacks...Oblivion, Stalker to name a few...BUT I've also played the same games through without the trainers,

i used th config file mod cheats in crysis but after about 30-40min its got really boring...made the game to easy! so i set them all back to normal...

I had this happen to me in SS too. I got my base up and was collecting strategic points when all of a sudden, this guy had a shit load of troops storming my base. I was like
'WTF!?" No way in hell he had that many guys in under 10 min.

You just described the game I recently experienced... :eek:

I looked at the stats after it was all said and done.. I had more resources than the "winners"...5320 to 5000 or something like that... BUT they had 400+ troops to my 25 troops...go figure.

its happening alot in TF2 now as well. The current cheats are not detectable by VAC so when they do cheat it sucks..

i played off of my usual server (a very clean one, stompfest if youre looking, 2 reg rotation, 1 24/7 2fort). and we were on dustbowl defending the last 2 points. They couldnt cap so the ADMIN enabled his hacks. He was wearing the server admin tag and everything and he became a flying, speed hacking heavy. there is no better way to chase people off of your servers. i was gone in a second.

COD4 is by far the most hacked game online I've ever seen. There was even an article about how large the number of hacked version of COD4 were online playing. I stop playing the game online because it was impossible to play without getting grenade or shot from no were. Some days it was OK as long as you stayed with the "pack" but when the whole "pack" are all killed within 4-5 seconds I lost interest at that point. I thought BF2 was bad but it's a cake walk compared to COD4.

Games like COH, WiC, TF2, CS:S, BF2, etc all have their moments but it's nothing like COD4. What's funny is currently it's the 3rd or 4th most played game online according to Game Monitor. The number of possible people hacking in a game like that can boggle the mind :mad:

TF2 has some but VAC is pretty good. There are quite a few aim hacking snipers on my favorite 2fort server lately. Couldnt even leave the dam base or you would get auto be-headed..
