I have an 80GB Samsung drive and I'm not impressed with it. Slow and very noisy. It's a SP0802N.

I have the exact same model. Very strange because mine is very snappy and its very very quiet.

Oh and decent deal DD. Seems about the average cost anywhere you look.

You can have mine if you want it. Quiet is a subjective statement. What you consider to be quiet will not be quiet to others. I need complete silence and the drive is far from it when reading from the disc.

Just pay for shipping + packaging really. I have no need for it. My file server is maxed out with hard drives ATM. Just FYI that I'll run KillDisk on it first though.
