You should put your money on a new graphic card. Look into the 8800gs, 9600gso, or the 9600gt.

Yeah a new gfx wouldnt go amiss....Ram and gfx shouldnt be to expensive but the 939 x2 might prove difficult/expensive.

I hate to say it, but it's not worth putting money into the socket 939. I recently switched from my 939 system because I needed a better processor (was running a 3200+ (venice core, 2.0Ghz, 512kb L2 cache)). Finding a processor that's worth your money is nearly impossible. Also, if you want to upgrade your memory, you will get ripped off. DDR is much more expensive than DDR2 right now.

What's your budget?

Ignore people who say you need to drop more than $100 on a video card. They think that game performance is THE benchmark by which you measure a computer.

Others (like me) seem to think that a computer is benchmarked by every day tasks and gains bonus points for game performance.

Hes right unless you overclock say a 4400x2 939 and get it at a reasonable price your wasting your money.
