The other day I was walking through Circuit City and say the HP Blackbird 002 on sale. This was one of them with the clear side panel made special for display purposes. I saw that it used SLi Single Slot graphics cards, and I wondered what they were(I though 9600GT at first). To my surprise they were actually reported as 9800GTs!
I wasn't aware that they had been released yet. So I just put it off as HP shipping a demo system with hardware that wasn't available yet. And when I got home I looked up HP's Blackbird site and saw no mention of the 9800GT.
However, today I got the newegg news letter, and in it was the Blackbird with dual 9800GTs.
I haven't really heard any news about these cards. I wasn't even aware that they were released, but it seems they are. Anyone have any specs on these cards? Are they going to be available to OEMs only, or will they eventually make their way to the public?
