Selling because I have 3870x2's and they don't play well with this board. FANTASTIC overclocker. I've been running the NB passively and no temperature issues. Runs my e8500 @ 3.95ghz without a sweat. Looking to get $125 + shipping. This is my loss. I've only been using the board for about a month. I still have all the original packaging and whatnot. The current pictures are in my machine, because that's where it's still at. I'll post some others from my project log as well.

I have also done a small mod to the NB cooler. I've scrapped the plastic pins and made my own back plate and used some nuts/bolts.

There's some kind of strange compatibility issue with the DFI X38 boards and ATI's X2 cards that causes random system crashes. So far AFAIK DFI has done little to nothing to mend this. I haven't been able to get CF to work either. There aren't any issues with any single-gpu cards, even in crossfire to my knowledge. I had thought about switching to dual 4870's, but I've been advised that I would have better luck selling this mobo than both of my cards.

I saw no update BIOSs on DFI's website.

Sapphire or Visiontek released a bios, I think it has something to do with ATI's Power Play thats incompatible
with DFI Boards so the patch tries to disable it completely. some say it works some say just using XP resolves the issues.

Ah you're talking about the GPU BIOS. I have read of some people getting this to work for one card, but I haven't seen anybody successfully running crossfired 3870x2's.

~45º load IIRC. I haven't paid too much attention to temps as this system as mostly been an overpriced internet browser until I can get a new mobo.
