Help with 4870 X2 CFX being as 3870 X2 detected.

Hi,

I have a test machine with two different 4870 X2s.

But the system shows there are four cards, including 3870 X2s. What's the problem?

I don't quite understand your problem...but have you installed the latest catalyst 8.8?

Yes dude.

Let me explain more:

I have two HD 4870 X2s on my system. I want to enable Crossfire. I have no idea it is enabled or not. Also I can not see any options regarding CFX in CCC.

And both GPU-Z and Everest latest version tells me that i have four cards installed in my system.

Also as you can see, CCC says I have a system with one 3870X2 and one 4870X2 lol.

I am sorry guys. The topic can be deleted. One of the cards were 3870 X2 and they were so similar that i was unable to see the difference lol...Can be deleted.

The cards came to test. Actually we were going to get two 4870 X2s for the test. At the meantime, one our friend's 3870 X2 came back from repair, and the card has no sticker on it mentioning 3870 X2.

At first i said to myself that i have never seen a red PCB 4870 X2 but maybe this card was a very early sample

I have de-installed 4870 X2 and saw that the card was nothing more than a 3870 X2

.
