What PSU did you plan to get? Whatever it is, avoid rosewill and powmax lol.

Why windows XP? Other than transfer rates I find Vista SP1 to be superior to XP.

you should opt that 500gb drive for a WD 640GB one, same price but the new WD640 is very fast!

32mb cache drives arent totally useless I dont think, I know all the new drives are pretty fast, especially ones with 333gb platters such as the Samsung F1 1tb and that WD drive. The WD640GB is faster than my 750gb f1 because of its larger platter.

I'm a little curious as to why your putting $1300 into something just to play COD4. You won't need a phenom, at least not a high-end quad core one. A low end core 2, or if your anti-intel for some silly reason you could get a low end phenom, would do you just fine when oc'd. And for gaming vista is definitely the way to go.

32MB offers a slight performance advantage from everything I have ever seen or read. Wether it is perceivable is another thing. Its a nice drive for the money.

It's of little consequence in drives under a tb is what I've read. 16mb is plenty for most.
