To force DX9, just add -dx9 to the end of a shortcut.

Or you can go to Games in the start menu and right click on the shortcut and select Launch DX9

No shortcuts....it never made any when it installed, even though I told it to, not about to reinstall just for a shortcut.

Haha I was running it on Enthusiast last night with 4x AA and it was actually playable, that's on a 3870X2 so I don't think it will be a problem for you.

(I mean the Games window that Vista has, It made no shortcuts in the start menu for me either.)

Warhead runs smooth looks cool if u put the extreme quality mod... one more thing, game is sooo short lolz shorter than call of duty 4.

Don't bother, it will be a slideshow with 2GB of RAM...DX9 was too. XP is good thou for 2GB of RAM, much smoother in XP.

I HIGHLY doubt that... I played it perfectly in x86 and x64 Vista with the Original... So either they massively screwed up *again* or somebody else with 2gb of ram can't tweak their system worth half a ****.

Great game. I am on my second way through while I am playing Stalker: Clear sky. The new patch increased framerates pretty good.

I don't do Crysis Warhead online. Not really an online game to me.

Its more optimized. I play it with highest settings on everything with no stutter at all the entire game in 1920x1200. Super high frames. But my Intel Quad and GTX 280 are OC'ed a bit.

The ending is a 3/10 in my books, but the game overall is a 10 for sure. The fighting from the train, until the end is epic!
