I have a 2 motherboards that are quietly collecting dust.

Asus P5Q-E
used for about a week for some superpi then set aside, since I do crossfire, the 8x bandwidth was not doing it for me. includes box, all accessories (still sealed in plastic) manual, cd, the dust, etc. can do 580+fsb

DFI LT X48 T2R
Just got back from DFi RMA so board is pretty much brand new. includes cd, manual, cables, io shield, and transpiper (bought seperatly) the board did 530+fsb sorry but dfi kept the box when I sent it in for rma. :shadedshu

both motherboards could hold my e8500 and e7200 @ 5ghz with ease.
the P5Q-E was amazing for 65nm quad fsb. 525fsb easy.

can trade seperately or combo. what you got? not really too interested in outright sale atm however in the future mabye.

you understand that the x8 PCI-E 2.0 bandwith equals PCI-E 1.1 x16 so there shouldnt be any performance hit.

true it is equivilant to pcie 1.1 16x however if the video card is not a pcie 2.0 card, then it will drop to 1.1 for compatibility and thus run at pcie 1.1 8x

still on 2900pros for me.

interested however i dont think that the motherboards are worth a qx9650, that cpu is pretty expensive... but then again i also have a retail e8500 that can do 5ghz+ bench, 4.25ghz 24/7 (500x8.5) @ 1.36v that im pretty happy with...

incase anybody is wondering what motherboard im still using its my maximus formula with rampage mod. its a beast of a board that does 600fsb. best ive seen yet for x38.

yes, just want to see if any other offers trickle in. just looked in the box, everything is squared away, even comes with the powered by asus sticker

im still undecided about the dfi board. i had an offer for a video card that is tempting however if i get 1 i always get a 2nd for crossfire/sli but i dont have any nvidia mobo's. i may just start using that board instead of my maximus and use the 3rd pcie16 slot for physx (have a old 8500gt laying around)

if a deal does not pan out today (selling a vapochill + e8500 mabye) i may be putting up a e8500 as well.
