[FT] e8500 4.4 stable for GOOD Q6600

Looking to trade my nice e8500 CO for a early batch, low VID Q6600 GO or Q6700. This e8500 benches stable at 4.4ghz on 1.45v Looking for this to be a straight up trade for your "average" Q6600, or I'll add $10-$20 for a really low VID chip.

My B3 has been tested to 3.2 on stock voltage but my mobo wont do it. unfortunetely it is a B3 so im not sure how much higher you will get it i think the record for the chip was 3.6Ghz btw it is lapped and stays pretty cool.

Yeah and Paulieg's heatware is definately established aswell. He has most likely made 3 times as much trades than his heatware evals shows because most people don't bother with heatware usage on moderators since its reliability by default really.

My trades with him have always been perfect.

If only i were in the states - this thing will run stock @ 1.2V and 3.6 @ 1.35V (ish).

(Sorry, i wont be wanting to ship over the pond, too risky IMO)

Temps are good, cores get into the lower 60's in prime95 at 4.4ghz and 1.45v.It's not lapped. Not worth the lose in trade value to lap it. What kind of OC can you get out of that chip, and do you know the batch/pack date?

im not sure, i could probably figure it out the batch and pack date for you, otherwise i wouldnt know what kind of oc it can do mainly becuase it was purchaced directly form intel from a purchace program with an intel motherboard, no oc :banghead:

Mine does 3.6ghz @1.360v stable vid 1.2750. early Go sweet chip.

Definatly hold out for a early one my mate got a new one and needed 1.5v to hit 3.6ghz stable and his water cooling struggled at that too.

Yeah, I bought 3 crappy ones about 6 months ago. None of them would OC past 3.4ghz. Sold
'em all.

TBH mate if i was to sell this chip id still ask for What ever it is new cos chips like this should'nt depreciate in value for what you can get out of them especially as it never hits 60c under stress.
