I don't use TPU's image hosting. I normally use photobucket, tinypic, etc. or an FTP server I have access to. For the Cyborg mouse thread, I used photobucket. Here is what the FAQ says, but I think you can upload directly too (prior to posting). Can't help with that though. Good luck.

Threads dont have an expiration date. As the thread gets older it just falls into the fold to be used as reference, or for late adopters to refresh with new questions. Threads get closed because they are way off topic, or the topic/candor of the thread warrants it to be closed.
