Dedicated hardware AI cards. I love my SP games, ever since HL1 ( never as good ) but I think AI cards would be a good step further. Understandably its something else that has to be upgraded, but maybe it can be done with software?

Yeah it seems that I have to disable the second screen when not in use, to save the GPU and power.

You need to disable the second screen. I have the same problem, and its the way the card was designed. If you disable the second screen, and only enable it when your using it it will save the card a whole lota work. If you are using the screen constantly, then there is nothing you can do...

I had the same problem for 7 days. I then deleted steam.dll, steamclient.dll, steamUI.dll and the .blob file You can try that? MAKE SURE YOU move your steamapps folder to another location!

Well here is a new one. I deleted the .blob file, and without restarting steam tried to download the game. It then said the steam servers are to busy.

Well yes, but it doesnt solve OP problem. Is he trying to send 'native' bluray audio down a DVD stream? He said that it used to work. I think he is sending UNcompressed audio to a reciever that like compressed audio.

See I thought SPDIF was bandwith limited to 5.1 compressed stream, and HDMI really just bumped up the bandwith for 7.1 UNcompressed and consequentially had enough room for video too?

Made my text all blurry. As if cleartype was off. Especially bad in Thunderbird. I rolled back to 11.7. BC2 performance was down 10fps too.
