    I had a high end Matrox card back in the day and the image quality was stunning. Better black levels than any other graphics card I owned in the early 2000s.

    No one ever talks about it, but over the years; Nvidia has had a number of it's share of driver issues including one infamous update that was killing gpus left and right. Matrox is still alive.

    Would you pay more for hardware with AI capabilities?

    I do not want it in my machine or for any machine I own. But instead I want a dumb client as we have now that can connect and disconnect form an AI cloud server at my will and for my needs.

    AMD has been making good drivers for over 20 years now. Prior to the ATi 9700 pro, this statement could have held true that ATi drivers are not good. But since 9700pro and AMD's take over, the quality has done nothing but improve. People need to stop spreading what they don't know and only hear.

    The complete lack of PCI-e slots on motherboards these days is a big downer. 1 to 2 M.2 Slots is all you need. The rest of the space ought to be reserved for personal expansion via PCi-E. Need a 3rd m.2 slot? Then add a cheap PCI-E adapter. Want better networking, PCI-E?
