I need to know how well you understand BIOS and voltage controls...
I am running at 3.6ghz but I had to increase the voltage to 1.475v
That means that you have to have some good equipment.. and Understand that not ALL cpu's are made...
I leave mine all standard.. I am getting an AmD 940 tomorrow.. I couldn't unlock my 4th core.. so I will be posting my scores on 4 cores on friday.. that will show what difference 4 cores makes compared to 3. same Frequency off course.. apples to apples!
Check your bios manual... there is an option to set the performance of the cores.. Depends a lot on the board Manufacturer
I am running a gigabyte 750a nvidia chipset and I can't...
Evga GTX460 on Amd 720@3.6 Vantage = 17265
Amd X3 720 (phII) @ 3.6ghz NB@2.4ghz
Evga GTX 460 (EE Edition) @800 / 1600 / 2000
In an Antec 900 two on AIR.... cpu cooler is Artic Cooling PRO
I am trying to find better cases, as this only has 1 intake and 1 exhaust... Internal temp is around 30c.. so having the Cpu around 25-26c on idle is very good in my book..
So far nothing has come close to this case, ease of wiring, removable tray. loads of space... HDD mounts sideways..
