Bizarre question about an old Geforce

Ok so I have a Geforce 7900 GS that has EVGA markings and other EVGA things, such as manuel. However when i start the machine the card says PNY:wtf:. Any ideas as to what happened. I am the second owner of the card though, though the previous owner i doubt change the BIOS chip from EVGA to PNY....

    build and motherboard question

Can I make a suggestion for a gpu? I would spend the extra money and go with the GTX 560 2gb SC card You then get a full 2gbs of dedicated Video mem which would allow for better video rendering and a bit better performance compared to the last generation GTX 460s. Also the card itself has a...

Is this a decent laptop for lite gaming

First what is your opinion of "lite" gaming... My belief is that if you are going to game get a desktop, I really dont like putting quad core cpus and gpus that should be in desktops in laptops.I will say this, dont go with dell, I have seen to many of them break due to overheating. Also most of...

    Rate this laptop

I personally hate the idea of stick anything higher then a dual-core in a laptop, but looks good. Keep in mind I guess Toshiba's run a little on the hot side so maybe invest in a laptop cooling stand. But it is totally up to you.

Picking and Building my First System

Have you seen Coraisr's new Accelorator Series? They are small in size, between 30 and 60gbs and they are made for Intel's SRT. I think the 60gb is like 124 USD or £79.92. but that is waht Corsair says on their website.

AMD Talked to NVIDIA Before Acquiring ATI: Report

I personally have had nothing but bad experiences with ATI and then AMD gpus so i have no faith in AMD graphic cards the cpus cannot perform to what Intel can. Also Because Nvidia had a multi-gpu idea before AMD/ATI Nvidia in my mind is that makes Nvidia superior. Also I have yet to see an AMD...

Could Use some input on a couple of things

Ok so this maybe a stupid question but I rethinking to go with the new i5-2550K which has no onboard graphics but the motherboards that i am looking at have HDMI output. Will there be any problem with either the mobo or cpu if useing a mobo that has an HDMI output? Yes i am using a GPU so no...

    Need a few ideas

if you are going to do liquid cooling what about a Thermaltake Bigwater? Sorta a intro into liquid cooling. I have not used one, nor have ever done liquid cooling but the bigwater gives you a CPU block but you could also liquid cool the GPUs because if you wanted to mod them to accept liquid...
