The screenshots show that they are running in safe mode, which might mean they have executed the drivers manually. But even then, surely nothing else capable of running a 3D app is active. Seems highly suspicious to me. :wtf:

I really dont think supporting a format whose software is owned by the Govt is a good idea at all. Maybe this format will flourish in China, but I cant see it working anywhere else.

It doesnt matter what i set it at, it goes to 59 Hz, GTA IV is the only thing which stays at 60. That said, the screen never refreshes, and my monitor always reports 60 Hz.

Trident is the HTML engine which IE uses. Uninstalling IE from the system leaves Trident in place as so many apps use it, including steam. It only removes the GUI that is IE. My point was that steam has been built to use Trident with its own interface for everything but screenshot popups...

Id love to try it, but some people are saying you cant get on Live if your not an official participant. I wish MS had made a bigger announcement about it, cus then I would have signed up :(

My point about steam is that it can run the main app without IE, it can even run a browesr in game without IE, yet they insist on the screenshot pop-up opening in IE, wtf
