Yes. In Catalyst 7.7, I reach maximum VPU and Mem clock at 850/1035. In Catalyst 7.8, I reach maximum VPU and Mem clock at 860/1051. I think that pretty good.

I tested Catalyst 7.8 with my Palit HD2600XT. The result is very well improvement. With Catalyst 7.7 I get 97XX point in 3Dmark2005. With Catalyst 7.8 I get 103XX point. It improve about 4-6%.

My chip is Qimonda BF-10.

I think 3Dmark2001SE is not good enough for telling about the real performance of new VGA. Because it strongly depend on CPU

I have Sapphire X1650XT. My CPU is AMD64 3000+@2.66GHz with 512 MB DDR500(256MB*2) 3Dmark 2001 = 22000 3Dmark 2003 = 12000 3Dmark 2005 = 7600 3Dmark 2006 = 3250 But I cannot OC by using Catalyst 7.1. That is very odd.

I think we can use another program for OC its. For example, we can using Rabit to modify bios.

I had the same problem with Catalyst 7.1. I use X1650XT. When I adjust vpu clock or mem clock, the monitor will be flickering scree. This effect didn't occure in catalyst 6.10. This night, I will be tried with Omegadriver.

You can use atiflash for save VGA bios file. Then modified it by using RaBit. I can ues this method for OC X1650XT.
