K thats just stupid, u have no such information about my card, whenever is is dead or fully alive. As a matter afact i allready have this card about 1 year now, played the highest possible games Ut2k4 far cry HL2 Doom3 F.e.a.r Quake4 non of them showing me any artifacts even not with nice oc...

is the problem solved? not here it is, still can not find the highest core speed and memory with atitool.. still dont have any artifacts with quake4 at 590/570 at High quality 1024x768

perhaps even a better boost... a 9800 XT core runs at 411 and mem at 360, my old 9800 pro was 440/370 with air cooling... i really dont see why u should flash it anyways.. even if u could....

Ok thats wierd, i have artifacts also with ati tool 0.23 (but they allready know that) It's probly not your VGA, well atleast in my case its not. Me wonders if u get artifacts in games, dropping out of a game or a crash(reboot) can also be your power supply. I dont get artifacts in...

acrowley23 the old scanning methode will crash my x800 xt pe card ... so thats not an option for me

look in the title (Stock speed) Hmmm looks like ATItool have some problems with MSI VGA cards? because i have the same problem with my: MSI x800 XT PE also on STOCK speed alot artifacts with atitool, but with serious over clocking 590/570 stock(520/560) there are no artifact with 4...

well i buyed a ati4 silencer .. and my temps at finding core (with 3dview) 55C with the stock cooler it was 75C hmmm But then again .. with the new scanning methode .. it allready sees (even i see it) it gives artifacts at STOCK 520 Core... ?? I got a x800 XT pe 520/560.. this makes no...

i had a 9800 pro before this .. and i used atitool fom the beginning it was suported ... i clocked it 440/370c .. with vga silencer ... without it i had 420/365

i was wondering .. is he ATI silencer v4 good? better then a boxed cooler i mean .. i get boxed: 531,90/590,00 can i expect alot increasement? with that new cooler ... i know when i had a boxed cooler on my 9800 pro .. the VGA silencer v3 was perfect .. and gave me much more stabelity...

so in other words .. my x800 xt is in "idle mode" when i run 3dmark05 or 03 or Umark or aquamark?? because it will not pass the 53C in those really hard benchmarks is that what ur saying??

well .. i tryed 0.0.23b8 But it's still there .. i nearly have to touch the button and in 10 second my vga temp control get 74C Tell me if this is weird..... At the time i close the 3dview, my temp control gets back in 2 seconds at 39C .. in 2 seconds!!!! now i am pretty sure this could...

pls some opinions on this or anything .. really want to solve this, and maybe it could be a atitool bug? because the greatest grafix games, non of them make my card that Hot it's even almost the same as my idle temp. help :(
