For those of you who can't even seem to understand a video for a source of information...
They Have Turned The PSU On To Its Side And Tucked It into the back corner of the case. :nutkick:
I have some issues running max settings in crysis3 across 3 30inch @ 5760x1080 but its very slight, i keep most settings at high+(low FXAA due to only 2gb vram cards, that stuff sucks ALLOT of ram) You should be good to go with just one 1440p and 2 670s though... i ALMOST got 3 of these monitors...
Hello, i am also having this issue with my swiftech dual extreme PWM pump, can you explain to my how you figured out the wiring was backwords? my pump is functioning fine, i just can not adjust it no matter what i do in crappy msi bios. on msi-z77a-g45 mobo, can confirm 4pins work... pump is...
I'm still not totally sure what the issue was, but I did a few things to try to fix what "alt tabbing" was fixing...
disabled and uninstalled precx
disabled and uninstalled all drivers
also pulled cards, for a diff reason...
re-install... win!
I do still get some skips on dual 670s @ this res...
so, this will be my first GPU loop build... i put together an all-in-one kit for my i5 and feel i can properly do my GPU's now... i have 2 670ftw(680ref pcb) and just wanna know if anyone can see any issue with this combo of parts... i will be using 1/2 3/4 fittings and tubing all the way...
Only had this issue on cracked sky rim and batman
To everyone else thank you for your input... Many of these theories crossed my mind... +thanks ... This is cross.platform which points to game coding more then.CPU/GPU right?
Hello! I'm looking for information on what would cause games to run better after alt-tabbing and reopening the program? this is the only thing that fixes the strange FPS/GPU usage issues i've been experiencing post going 5760x1080...
3570k on msiz77g45 w/ 2x 670ftws...
alt tabbing = better performance?
from what i understand the way i am hooking up my 3 monitors is proper when looking to span in 3d surround,
operating three independent monitors would require a 3rd card or some 3rd party hardware... but that is extremely off topic...
as to the hdmi/dvi...
ok so, 1st let me state since we are comparing apples and oranges... the only way for me to get all 3 displays to function on sli was to enable 3D-surround... (eyefinity) spanning 1,2,3 into one big #2
i know little about the eyefinity process so for now im going to assume its almost the same...
how do you do that? do you have some sort of splitter box? or do you do one dvi 2 hdmi? cuz when i did that there was a HUGE difference in color schemes... i thought i remembered seeing some sort of device made that would be a "dvi/hdmi splitter" of some sort, but when i went to look again one...
yeahh....
Newegg end of quarter deals are here! 670ftw 369$ after rebate... AND the new OCZ SSD 229$ for 256g... i should get one of those and make it my game drive... my vertex 4's are getting old!
the plot for distinct answers to my problems thickens
thx!
thanks for the responses... i was wondering about that 3 monitors, 3 cards thing...1 for each monitor SHOULD almost work as such in programs that utilize multiple GPU's... IT IS 2013 after all...
Shaneduce what socket/mobo are you using for 3 680s? also, in theory cant an i7 handle more...
670sigh
i have an issue in new games w/ my i5 3570k and 2 670 FTW's i would be choppy @ 40fps w/ 50% gpu usage and 50% mem/ram usage when trying to push past 2x MSAA... and of corse the i5 is only @60-80% so i just :banghead: & keep "throwin parts at it" as we use to say in autoclass.
now...
