I've been hearing that Asus gpu tweak works on r9 290x but only Asus models. Seeing as how the same person develops both gpu tweak and Sapphire trixx I went to check Sapphire's website and it looks like trixx hasn't been updated in eight months.
Doesn't work for you maybe.
Again, if you are so confident that Nvidia cards work better buy a pair instead of complaining.
That has nothing to do with anything that you've been complaining about.
Like I said I don't use eyefinity. It seems like the biggest complainers often use eyefinty.
I remember you complaining about crossfire scaling. I used tri-fire 7950 for around six months and found scaling on a single display great.
If I were you I would have given Nvidia cards a shot a long...
First of all, it took months. I suffered from that from day one with my 680.
I ran into countless other performance issues that many others saw as well. Nvidia has had their issues too. Like the TDR issues from not that long ago. Hardware plays differently on different hardware. Who knows how...
Wizzard won't use them though. He likes to use outdated WHQL drivers in his reviews. You know since no one that uses a bleeding edge $1000 video card would ever try something labeled a beta.
I've been using 7950 tri-fire for months. :) Most games seem to scale very well for me. The only issue that I've run into was Far Cry 3 not scaling in tri.
Again, 13.1=12.11b11
Obviously newer games scale better with newer drivers. Maybe other tri-fire users only use WHQL drivers from windows...
It would be nice if TPU had used up to date drivers in this review. What kind of tri-fire user refuses to use beta drivers? The WHQL driver used in this review is pretty much a two and a half month old beta. Many of the newer games in this review see much better scaling with more recent drivers...
Actually when your gpu vrms and memory run cooler they draw a little less juice. So it should also help keep TDP down.
I know in the past with bigger gpus that they would clock better at lower temps. The GTX280 for example would clock better if you could keep it cool. Thats back before...
I'm not so sure that this memory rewrite is going to solve this issue. That was more in response to the frame latency issues. If that were to solve this issue you would think that we would be seeing this in DX10 and 11 titles as well just like the frame latency issue.
This apparently has...
I don't know how this isn't getting more attention. I've been a 7950 owner for a few months now. I've noticed those frame latency issues that people are all up in arms over in one game (Stalker Clear Sky). Even then there is a work around, a framerate cap which I generally use anyways.
The...
