Windows Explorer Not Responding on Startup

Also, I don't have access to the command prompt. The second i try running cmd.exe through task manager it just shuts down. I'm using an EVGA nForce 680i board, and I tried booting into safemode, but the same problem happens.

    my first custom build

I'd go for a Geforce card over an ATI one, because of their ability to run games better (I've tested it) and also for possible dx10 capabilities.

    Hardware for Diablo 2 LOD

Yeah, the system requirements for Diablo are next to nothing; 233 MHz Pentium or better, 32MB RAM, DirectX compatible video card. It's most definitely not the requirements. Since Diablo is an older game, Blizzard isn't using as high quality servers as it was, and that c ould affect it (doubt...

    Repairing Windows

I just tried putting it after the string, and I still get the Parameter is not valid error. I know how to delete the file, it's just I'm not sure if the parameter error means the file doesn't exist or I'm doing something wrong.

    Repairing Windows

Every time I boot up Windows, I get an error that says I need to repair (it says it's missing a file). I've been reading that in order for me to repair my Windows installation without loss of data, I need to delete a file called undo_guimode.txt in the system32 folder. I open up the recovery...
