Using the latest updater file from Asus' website.
My motherboard has all compatibility and options enabled. I updated the vbios on an older MSI ventus 3080 without issues and had rebar running on that one.
With this newer Strix 3080, however, asus updater does what seems to be like nothing...
So I basically damaged it?

Even with the stock bios it's crashing now... even with stock clocks.
Mind you before all of this i was able to clock it to 970/1400 stable :shadedshu

I'm guessing this was the wrong thing to do. I did attempt the "update 2" steps using RBE to mod my bios and unlock the shaders, didn't work and the card is still crashing on me.

Hey, I tried this. I have the same GPU as the op except only x1 and the voltage settings still didn't unlock. I noticed your msi is red instead of green I guess thats just a skin. But my version also says 2.1
Anything else I could try?
