I am trying to monitor my Celeron E3300 with RealTemp and temps always report 43C (Core 0)/40C (Core 1) whether the CPU is 0% or 100% load. Temp readings in BIOS (Biostar G41-M7) seem reasonable and change just as you would expect. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks.

mbd1475 - putting the Zalman on a C3D GTO couldn't be easier. Remove 3 screws to get the stock cooler off, only 2 screws are needed to mount the Zalman. See the installation flash movie at zalmanusa.com.

VTwedge - did you flash with an XT bios for 2.0 ns memory (like the Powercolor)?

The fuse configuration strings you posted indicate it's probably not unlockable, sorry.

WarAnakin - what card are you using? Solaris17 got decent benchmark performance improvement from 5.11 on his 9800pro, but your change is, for all practical purposes, zero.

You might want to use one of the bios for 2.0 ns Samsung memory - perhaps the Powercolor X800XT PCIe/Samsung 2.0 bios? I haven't used it personally because I just use ATITool to set any speed I want with the modified C3D 16p bios, but some users of this card have reported success.

That's a tough call - #1 has good mem clock, #2 has good core clock but unfortunately neither has great combined gpu/mem performance.

Is your display an LCD? If so, there's no problem with the 60Hz refresh rate.
